TL;DR

Overview

Samatix is a digital agency delivering premium custom websites, e‑commerce stores and web portals with a focus on UX, sales psychology and measurable business results.

I joined as a UX/UI Designer and grew into a Team Lead, managing designers and developers while owning UX and UI direction across all client projects.

I led delivery of custom e‑commerce stores, websites and large portals, wrote functional specifications, and worked directly with clients to align expectations with both usability and technical constraints.

Each project delivered a fully custom, non‑template solution tailored to the client's business goals, with the team consistently meeting quality, UX and development standards under my direction.

Overview

Samatix is a digital agency that designs and develops premium business websites, online stores and advanced web portals. The work focuses on UX, psychology of sales and measurable effectiveness, with every solution built fully custom – no templates – aimed at increasing client acquisition and revenue.

My role

I joined Samatix as a UX/UI Designer and over time grew into a Team Lead role, taking ownership of both the design and development side of client projects. In this capacity I managed a team of designers and developers, defined the UX and UI direction for each project, and ensured that every solution met both client expectations and business goals.

I also wrote functional specifications and worked directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle, which helped align expectations early and kept the team focused on solutions that balanced usability with technical constraints.

Approach

Each project started with understanding the client's business, their users and their goals. I combined that with UX research, competitive analysis and sales psychology principles to define the right direction before any visual work began. From there I guided the team through information architecture, wireframing and final UI, staying involved through development to make sure implementation matched the design intent.

Working directly with clients throughout the process – not just at the start and end – meant we could catch misalignments early and adjust without costly rework. Writing functional specifications for each project gave the development team a clear, shared reference point and reduced back‑and‑forth during build.

What I did

  • Led delivery of custom e‑commerce stores, business websites and large web portals from brief to launch.
  • Defined UX and UI direction across all projects, ensuring consistency, usability and alignment with client business goals.
  • Managed a cross‑functional team of designers and developers, coordinating workload, quality and timelines.
  • Wrote functional specifications that bridged client requirements and technical implementation.
  • Maintained direct client relationships throughout projects, managing expectations and guiding decision‑making.
  • Applied sales psychology and conversion principles to UX decisions, ensuring designs supported measurable business outcomes.

Selected work

Outcomes

  • Delivered a range of fully custom, non‑template digital products that helped clients improve acquisition and revenue.
  • Grew from UX/UI Designer to Team Lead, taking on broader responsibility for quality, process and team direction.
  • Built a working model for client collaboration – combining direct communication, functional specs and iterative design – that kept projects on track and reduced misalignment between client expectations and delivered solutions.
